The aspiring Assembly members for Nsusosooso East Electoral Area in the Agona West Constituency, Anthony Kwame Kum have assured electorates in his area of working hard to ensure that their area gets the facelift that they deserve.

According to him, he is contesting the position to bring total development to the area in terms of education, road infrastructure, sanitation and health.

Anthony Kwame Kum, who has received the blessings of majority of people in his electoral area and beyond, has become the surest bet to win the coming Assembly elections.

Checks from the grounds indicate that as part of his efforts to ensure that his dream of bringing a Facelift to Nsusosooso East Electoral Area becomes a reality, the aspiring member, Anthony Kwame Kums has graded some streets in the area, with his own resources.

Anthony Kwame Kum who is nursing the ambition of becoming a Member of Parliament (MP) in the future, disclosed that his vision is to turn Nsusosooso East into an Estate.

Said to be the largest area in Agona Swedru, Anthony Kwame Kum noted that Nsusosooso faces a lot of challenges which require somebody with the zeal and enthusiasm like himself to fix them.

According to him, youth unemployment is one of his priority objectives, and as such he has already supported some of the youth in his area financially to establish their own businesses.

He further disclosed that he is also in touch with some entrepreneurs to train the youth who have no academic qualifications in vocational skills.

“Youth empowerment is my major priority. In these areas, youth unemployment has been on the increase which leads many of our youth into social vices especially Internet fraud. This is giving the area a bad image for which we need to salvage. As I said, I have already begun supporting the you to establish their own businesses. There are more things I have in stocks for the youth and I believe when the platform is given to me, that is when they vote for me to become the Assembly man for the area, I will be able to offer more, “ he said.

 

He gave the assurance that, he will continue to do his best to support the people and make his dreams for the are a reality to the benefit of all.

, the aspiring Assembly member for Dweneho electoral area, Daniel Kojo Kratia on his part stated that his area is already blessed with some developments such as roads and street lights, with sanitation remaining as the major problem confronting the area.

He noted that though not yet voted into office as the Assembly member, he is already in touch with the Assembly and the Environmental Health Directorate in the area to find a lasting solution to the problem.

Confident of winning the elections come the voting day, he assured the Chiefs, elders, opinion leaders and the electorates of his area that he will put all his ability to work to ensure that Dweneho gets the best that it deserves in terms of development.

He later commended the incumbent Assembly member who have decided to step down for doing her part for the area under her tenure of office.
