The Aspiring Assembly Member for Nsawam, Mantemankabi, Owani, and Kwame Kom electoral area in Agona Swedru in the Agona West Constituency of the Central Region, Emmanuel Alfred Mensah ( aka Onaana) has called on residents in the area to foster closer collaboration to ensure the development of the area.
Speaking of his ambition to contest for the position as the Assembly member, he stressed that the lack of unity among the various communities in the area has greatly affected the development of the area.
He assured that when voted as the Assembly member, his first priority would be to marshal the youth to embark on a massive clean-up exercise in the area, as according to him, sanitation remains a major challenge confronting the area.
So far, he is said to have organized cleanup exercises in some parts of the community, though not been voted into office yet.
