This will be the second time the DCE is undertaking such an initiative to motivate brilliant students in the district.
Hon. Ahinakwa has therefore invited the general public, parents, teachers, traditional leaders and students to a short ceremony to celebrate the outstanding candidates.
The event is scheduled as follows:
Date: Wednesday, 2nd September, 2026
Venue: Akroso Market Square
Time: 10:00 AM prompt
At the ceremony, the DCE will distribute educational items including trunks, mattresses, provisions and cash prizes to deserving students who excelled in the examination.
According to the DCE, the initiative is aimed at celebrating children who have made the district proud and to encourage other students to take their studies seriously.
“Let’s come together to celebrate our children who have made us proud. I believe hard work must be rewarded,” Hon. Ahinakwa stated.
He noted that investing in the education of children is key to securing the future of the district, adding that his office will continue to prioritize education and youth development.
Hon. Ahinakwa has in recent months embarked on several social support initiatives, including support for lactating mothers and the promotion of exclusive breastfeeding in the district.
Residents are encouraged to come out in their numbers to support and motivate the future leaders of Asene Manso Akroso District.
