The Minister for Roads and Highways, Francis Asenso Boakye, made this statement during a media briefing on his road tour in the Eastern Region.
He emphasized that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has built more roads than any other government in Ghana’s Fourth Republic.
“It’s on record that Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo’s government has constructed more roads than any previous government in the nation’s history,” he said.
The NPP government recognizes the significance of road networks in national development and is committed to continuing its efforts in building quality roads, which are essential for economic growth.
“The Minister declared that the Akyem Oda constituency holds a special place in the hearts of the NPP, and as such, they are committed to supporting its development.
Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah praised the Minister for his dedication to the nation’s progress.
He urged citizens to support the NPP party, enabling them to implement more projects for the nation’s benefit.
According to him, before the December elections, they will demonstrate why the NPP deserves to be re-elected, aiming to ‘break the 8’.”
